My family loves to visit Heritage Square for the amusement park rides without the huge crowds of the bigger amusement parks in Denver. Heritage Square is tucked away in the hills above Golden and offers an alpine slide, amusement park rides, paddle boats, go-karts, climbing wall and our personal favorite, the Water-Walker Human Hamster Balls.

BooTown

This Halloween season, Heritage Square is hosting BooTown, with something for all ages. The festival runs from September 29th through November 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. A BooTown Bundle is $12 and includes the 3-D Maze Craze, ScareCrow Express and a Pick-and-Paint Pumpkin.
