This weekend the fam and I are headed to the History Colorado Center in downtown Denver. The Center is brand new and opened this spring.

Since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed visiting the Colorado History Museum in downtown Denver near Civic Center and the Denver Public Library. The old museum was full of historical artifacts and stories about Colorado history. I loved walking between the stagecoaches and cars and looking at all the different types of tools used when Denver and Colorado were booming due to the gold rush.

The museum closed more than a year ago to build a brand new facility on Broadway near the Denver Art Museum. I’ve been excited to check it out ever since.

We will be treated to a special birthday celebration to learn more about the Center’s Time Machine birthday parties as well as have time to visit the museum. I’ll have a full report next week.
