I remember I was about 8 years old the last time I went to the circus with my family …. that was 30 years ago!!! Hard to believe it was that long ago. Now I have a family of my own and would love to take them to relive that same ‘ah’ experience I had when I was a little girl.

Most people say the circus is for just kids, but my first time going was 5 years ago, I was 20 years old, and just as enthralled as the 5 year old kids up a couple rows. My favorite part, (and the awesomest part) was Bello performing on the Wheel of Steel, trying to “get the girl” around the otger side of the Wheel. Being there to see that put a smile on my 20 year old face for weeks afterward. I told everyone I knew I got to go to the circus, and even got made fun of being I wasn’t a kid anymore. That’s ok though, I still loved it, and I want to give that kind of memory to my daughter, well before she’s 20.

I have always been fascinated by the trapeze. My mother and I would go to any circus that had them. I think the kiddos will like the animals the best though…

I took my oldest daughter when she was 2 to the circus and she LOVED it! the look on her face was very memorable. now I want to take her and her little sister who has never seen the circus.
